Graham Chapman "The Sensitive One"; 1941-1989. Graham Chapman attended Cambridge, where he met John Cleese in the Cambridge Footlight Society. Eric Idle joined Graham Chapman and Cleese one year later. Graham Chapman studied medicine at Cambridge, and qualified as a doctor. He put his medical career on hold to join John Cleese on stage, and Graham Chapman never went back. Graham Chapman sadly died of cancer, one day shy of Monty Python's 20th anniversary.
